Glenda A. Dubak – President and Owner
As owner of several successful businesses in Michigan and Alabama, Glenda has proven skills in program planning, project development, implementation, and management. One of her businesses employed over 100 employees. She has a diverse business background in education, private companies, and local government agencies. She has secured and managed grants from the Department of Education, Department of Labor and Department of Transportation. While employed at a local WIA board, she also released, scored, and recommended funding for grants dealing with Welfare-to-Work and Workforce Development. She has served as president of several professional organizations, as a director on several non-profit boards, and helped develop three non-profits. She also served on the state counseling association’s ethics committee for a few years. She is an outspoken advocate for the environment, has worked as a volunteer with several youth organizations, and was a Field Executive for Girl Scouts of the USA. She has taught several college courses and adult education and in both Michigan and Alabama. She has helped plan and implement several state and nationwide professional events. Glenda earned a M.A. in Counseling and Development and completed all coursework for M.Ed. in Educational Psychology. She was a Jesuit Scholar at the University of Detroit and a Graduate Professional Scholar at Wayne State University, both in Detroit, Michigan. She has been a long-term member of the Sierra Club and is a member of Repower America, League of Conservation Voters, Change.org, and One.org.
Peter D. Capizzo – Director and Chief System Engineer
Peter has over 25 years experience in computer and electrical engineering design. Working across a broad spectrum of industries, from military vehicles, to industrial machinery and processes, to automotive electronics design, to aerospace navigation and control systems, he has successfully lead several major projects from conception to completion. He possesses an affinity for technical detail that brings quality and reliability to the end products. He holds several US patents, including a universal battery exchanger for electric vehicles. Peter earned a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering, and has won several awards for outstanding accomplishments, including design of high-speed circuit boards, high-density power systems, and novel analytical software tools.
Kevin L. Capizzo - Chief Automotive Engineer
Kevin has over 20 years experience in mechanical and structural engineering design, stress analysis engineering, test engineering, and safety engineering. He has demonstrated keen managerial skills in working with analytical people, in developing meaningful and accurate FEA models, and effectively communicating with engineers in achieving efficient and accurate design results. His technical accomplishments include development and correlation of full vehicle FEA models that include body structure, chassis, interiors, test, and restraint system models using simulation software. His skills include vibration and damping analysis, stress analysis, and fatigue analysis. He has design and analyzed frame and suspension components for hybrid and electric vehicles, and performed strength analysis ensuring product safety. He has worked across a wide spectrum of automotive and aerospace industries including: General Motors, Chrysler, Nissan, Porsche, and Boeing. Kevin holds a US patent, and earned a B.S. in aeronautical engineering and a M.S. in alternative energy technology.
Thomas G. Dubak - Chief Finance Officer
Thomas has over 15 years experience in finance and business administration. He earned a B.S in Finance while also being honored as the Department of Economics “Most Outstanding Student”. Over the last four years he has operated a successful apparel business with over 2 million in annual sales. While operating the business, he has demonstrated the skills required to manage the financial requirements, including accounting processes and research of yearly budgets. He operated as the company's controller, and effectively reported all the financial proceedings. He also directed collection and execution of accounting software, performed all yearly financial planning, created a business plan, and implemented the payment system for the company. Tom also has extensive management experience, including 7 years as Parts & Service Director at one of the largest Lincoln Mercury dealerships in America. He was responsible for 25 employees, and handled all aspects of forecasting, budgeting, scheduling and all daily service requirements including managing a clerical staff.
